Job summary

Gaylord Hotels is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional to increase revenues for property food and beverage outlets by managing restaurant private events. You will develop leads, up-sell events, and book private function spaces, working with clients and chefs to ensure perfect execution of each specification.

Role focuses on driving event profitability, maintaining outlet information, and building repeat business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years’ sales/marketing or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; 1 year experience in sales/marketing or related area.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenues for property food & beverage outlets by managing private events.
• Develops leads, up-sell events, and books restaurant private event functions.
• Coordinates with clients and stakeholders to implement client specifications.
• Provides revenue and sales reports; maintains outlet web-site information.
• Follows up with clients and re-books future events; manages space availability and profitability.
