San Antonio POS, Inc. is a hands-on team providing Shift4 Dine POS installation, programming, and ongoing support across the San Antonio area.

The Field Service Technician role involves installing, configuring, and supporting POS systems at customer sites, with daily restaurant visits and on-site training for staff. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, handle basic networking, and document configurations.

Qualifications

• Strong technology aptitude with POS systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Restaurant management experience is preferred.
• Experience with Shift4, Toast, Square, Aloha, Micros is a plus.
• Willingness to travel between merchant sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure POS terminals, printers, cash drawers, KDS units, and card readers at merchant locations.
• Build and update menu programming in the Shift4 Dine back office.
• Train restaurant staff on daily POS operation.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on-site or by phone.
• Set up basic networks: routers, switches, cabling, Wi‑Fi for handheld devices.
• Perform site surveys before installations and document configurations afterward.
• Provide responsive support to existing merchants, including after-hours calls as needed.
• Represent the company professionally in live restaurant environments.
