Job summary

Wonder is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Bronx, NY to run the four walls of the location. You will lead end-to-end execution across kitchen, service, fulfillment, and customer experience, ensuring peak performance on every shift.

This role requires 2+ years in shift operations in food service or retail, strong leadership, and knowledge of food safety. You will coach teams, manage labor and inventory, and uphold brand standards while driving profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing shift operations in food service, retail, hospitality, or similar setting.
• Proven ability to own operational KPIs including labor deployment, order accuracy, and throughput.
• Knowledge of food safety and team safety protocols.
• Strong communicator and collaborator with a structured approach.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution across all functions—kitchen, fulfillment, service, and customer experience.
• Optimize labor deployment and lead shift readiness to meet volume targets.
• Use data/feedback to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain flow and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, labor and health standards.
• Coach and develop hourly team members with accountability and safety.
