Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily restaurant operations. You will lead a dynamic management team and hourly staff, drive financial performance, and ensure top-notch guest experiences.

You will develop talent, coach for performance, and uphold company standards in service, cleanliness, and safety. The AGM will assume full responsibility in the GM's absence and support promotions and new menu initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age to serve alcohol per state/local laws.
• Ability to obtain food safety and alcohol service certifications where required by law.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Shift Managers and hourly team members.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain team members.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and growth.
• Ensure outstanding guest service by resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and regulations.
• Monitor labor, scheduling, inventory, costs, and operating expenses.
• Assist in executing promotions, menus, and operational initiatives.
• Support sales growth by maintaining high service standards and memorable experiences.
• Complete administrative responsibilities including reports, scheduling, performance reviews.
