Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Covington, LA to drive store performance and guest satisfaction. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to execute action plans, review financial metrics, and grow Team Members’ skills.

This role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, strong leadership, and the ability to manage schedules, labor, and inventory while upholding CAVA’s standards. A positive, inclusive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory/manager role in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights/weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in managing daily restaurant operations including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA's standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing; address Team Member issues.
• Maintain high guest service standards and resolve customer concerns.
• Assist with financial reporting and analyzing performance metrics.
• Support with cash handling and budget adherence.
• Assist with training on food safety procedures.
