Sonic Drive-In in Pflugerville, Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations and staff leadership. You will train and supervise Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops to ensure a clean, safe and efficient guest experience.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, scheduling, inventory control and maintaining service excellence during irregular hours, with focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards.
• Implements policies from the employee handbook and monitors compliance.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost; completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists with administrative duties including records and documentation.
• Reinforces customer service focus and resolves guest requests and complaints.
