Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Austin, TX. You will assist the General Manager in running drive-in operations, train and support staff, and ensure safe, clean, and efficient service to guests.

Responsibilities include directing team members, managing staffing and inventory, and maintaining guest satisfaction with a customer-first mindset. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Manages drive-in restaurant operations and staffing levels.
• Monitors compliance with employee handbook and policies.
• Performs opening/closing duties and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensures quality food, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
