Nifty Fifty's Northeast Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and uphold our food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.

You will lead shift teams, manage inventory and scheduling, mentor staff, and address guest concerns, all while promoting our core values and creating a welcoming, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification required - or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Previous leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality and cleanliness.
• Proficiency in basic math and inventory procedures.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Spanish-speaking ability is welcomed and can enhance team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily operation and profitability of the restaurant
• Lead shifts with confidence, ensuring a smooth operation from open to close
• Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Assist in managing labor costs, inventory, food quality, and product presentation
• Coach, train, and develop team members to uphold Nifty Fifty's brand standards
• Communicate and enforce company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to align, energize, and inform the team
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling of team members
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment
• Collaborate with the General Manager on goals to drive quality, morale, and guest satisfaction
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including balancing drawers and shift reporting
• Complete administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by upper management
