Job summary

IRVINE BAEKJEONG LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure adherence to company standards. You will direct staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences, manage schedules, maintain food safety, and coach team members for growth.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, handling guest concerns, cash handling, and inventory management. A strong background in fast-paced restaurant leadership and knowledge of labor laws is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Preferred 2-4 years leadership in a full-service restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth, efficient service.
• Adhere to steps of service to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Create and manage staff schedules for adequate coverage.
• Maintain high food quality standards across all dishes.
• Enforce health and food safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees.
• Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Coach and develop team members for growth.
• Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively.
• Enforce company policies to maintain a compliant work environment.
• Handle money accurately including cash management and reconciliation.
• Conduct inventory counts, place orders, and reconcile supplies.
