Job summary

Calhoun's is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team at our Maryville location. The role emphasizes hospitality, guest satisfaction, and team development in a casual to upscale setting.

You will lead by example, recruit and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff, monitor costs, drive operational performance, and participate in local marketing and community outreach to build lasting guest relationships.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management experience in casual, upscale-casual or fine dining.
• Hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to train and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest service and satisfaction as a top priority.
• Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring guest happiness.
• Recruit, train, develop and retain front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Support initiatives that improve guest experience and loyalty.
• Help the restaurant achieve established operational and financial goals.
• Participate in community involvement and local marketing efforts.
• Manage food, beverage and labor costs without compromising quality or service.
• Monitor operating expenses including utilities, supplies and smallwares.
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying and addressing hazards.
• Complete daily operational paperwork accurately and on time (payroll, purchases, deposits).
