Job summary

Calhoun's is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team at our Lenoir City and Knoxville-area locations in Tennessee. You will lead with positivity, support your teams and deliver outstanding hospitality to every guest.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about developing people while driving exceptional guest experiences and meeting operational goals. This on-site role offers opportunities to contribute to local marketing and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management experience in casual, upscale-casual, or fine dining.
• Hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to train, motivate and develop a successful team.
• Ability to balance guest service with strong operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and make guest service and satisfaction a top priority.
• Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring every guest leaves happy.
• Recruit, train, develop and retain talented front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
• Support initiatives that improve the guest experience and build long-term loyalty.
• Help the restaurant achieve established operational and financial goals.
• Participate in community involvement and local marketing efforts.
• Manage food, beverage and labor costs without compromising quality or service.
• Monitor operating expenses, including utilities, supplies and smallwares.
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
• Complete daily operational paperwork accurately and on time, including payroll, purchase orders, bank deposits and employment-related forms.
