Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Boston to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold our core values. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to drive store performance, manage schedules, forecast demand, and coach hourly Team Members to deliver exceptional service.

The AGM will supervise inventory, cost controls, and staff development while maintaining a safe, clean, and guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgets and cost controls.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and coach Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing concerns.
• Lead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support financial reporting and analysis of performance metrics.
