Responsibilities

About the Position

First Watch Managers love mornings and the smell of bacon, with a passion for serving others. We hire managers who coach and develop team members, fostering a love for service and creating a cycle of restaurant excellence.

We take pride in our food, with each manager supervising both kitchen operations and the overall dining experience, rejecting the old BOH versus FOH management structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and support our You First culture and core values
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly and meet high standards
• Follow sourcing guidelines and recipes carefully
• Understand and aim to exceed sales and traffic goals
• Coach and observe the implementation of the First Watch Five Steps of Service
• Apply the principles of our 10 Commandments in daily operations
• Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
• Communicate and address repair and maintenance needs immediately
• Be certified in food safety and coach in safe food handling practices
• Recruit and interview potential team members
• Secure company assets including POS systems and equipment
• Understand the responsibilities of all restaurant positions
• Address inappropriate behavior and investigate as needed
• Train, coach, and develop team members daily
• Recognize outstanding performance
• Manage daily revenues and deposits
• Complete administrative tasks and paperwork on time
