Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee key restaurant functions in New York. The role emphasizes training, food safety, inventory control, and staff supervision to maintain high quality standards and guest satisfaction.

You will partner with the General Manager to drive sales, manage costs, and deliver a memorable guest experience while leading a team in a fast-paced environment. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others OR US Military Service.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs; and
• To provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and report results.
• Support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in Kitchen, People, and Service areas.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations through teamwork.
