Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location. AGMs lead restaurant operations, focusing on profitability, guest service, people development and day-to-day management. They support the General Manager and manage a team of hourly staff and shift leaders to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service principles.
• Flexible schedule incl. days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to work long/irregular shifts as needed.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional interaction with guests and coworkers.
• Willingness to learn all restaurant operations and work multiple stations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of quick-service restaurant experience; management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and supplies.
• Keeps operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment.
• Ensures adherence to cash control and security procedures.
• Interacts positively with guests and coworkers.
• Motivates and directs team to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Coaches Shift Leaders and Crew Members to raise performance.
• Directs team to accurate product prep and prompt delivery.
• Upholds brand and operational standards.
• Performs Hourly Shift Leader duties as needed.
