Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and deliver top-tier guest service. You will coordinate with the General Manager, coach Shift Leaders, and manage a team of Crew Members to maintain brand standards and speed of service.

The AGM will monitor inventory, maintain standards, and collaborate with vendors while ensuring cash controls and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Keeps operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with Company standards, interacting with external vendors as required.
• Ensures that restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures.
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers.
• Motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast and friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Shift Leaders and Crew Members to increase the restaurant team’s capabilities and raise restaurant performance.
• Directs restaurant team toward efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary.
