Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location. This role focuses on profitability, guest service and daily operations, assisting the General Manager and leading hourly staff to meet standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of quick-service restaurant experience (management preferred) and strong MS Office proficiency. Must be flexible with schedule and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Experience leading teams and delivering guest-focused service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Keep operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with Company standards, interacting with external vendors as required.
• Ensures that restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures.
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers.
• Motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast and friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Shift Leaders and Crew Members to increase the restaurant team's capabilities and raise restaurant performance.
• Directs restaurant team toward efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary
