Job summary

Taco Bell in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive daily restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager. You will lead by example, train and coach team members, and uphold brand standards to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The role emphasizes P&L involvement, cash controls, inventory management, and health & safety compliance, with a focus on equity and inclusion while promoting team recognition and motivation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Ability to train, coach and recognize team members.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations in GM's absence and drive performance.
• Model brand standards and MIC Success Routine to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing and hiring of team members with inclusive culture.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management, cash control and inventory.
• Monitor food safety standards and core operational excellence.
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance appraisals to staff.
• Collaborate with GM on staffing, training and performance improvements.
• Participate in facility maintenance and health & safety compliance.
