Job summary

THE ONE GROUP is seeking a Restaurant Manager in the New York area to oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and a memorable guest experience. You will lead a talented team, uphold brand standards, and drive financial performance in a high-energy dining environment.

You will develop staff, manage budgets, monitor quality, and collaborate on marketing initiatives to grow guest traffic while maintaining exceptional service and compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Hospitality Manager.
• Strong customer service background with a focus on guest experience and operational excellence.
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to educate staff on menus and ingredients.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software (OpenTable, Avero, POS systems, etc.)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Acute financial management skills, with experience handling budgets and P&L reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
• Maintain service excellence and elevated guest experience.
• Monitor vendor relationships, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Organize and supervise staff shifts for optimal coverage.

• Train and mentor staff in customer service and operations.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity.
• Foster team morale and create a high-energy work environment.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and facilitate positive resolutions.
• Promote the brand and local presence through events and partnerships.
