Job summary

Whataburger is seeking an Operating Partner to lead a team of Family Members and manage the performance and operations of their restaurant(s). The partner conducts financial tasks, staffing decisions, and brand initiatives, collaborating with Managers and Market Leaders to drive growth.

You will ensure food safety, coach leaders, and roll out new products, systems, and campaigns while maintaining Whataburger's standards and customer focus across locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Manages profit and loss and oversees cash reporting, labor, food expenses, repairs, and maintenance.
• Attracts and retains talent through hiring decisions, growth and development plans, and regular performance assessments.
• Executes operational plans with Managers and Market Leader; monitors performance via reporting tools and metrics.
• Maintains food safety policies, creates a safe work environment, and promotes customer service excellence.
• Builds customer relationships and handles complaints; drives change initiatives across products, systems, and campaigns.
