Job summary

Whataburger Restaurants is seeking an Operating Partner to lead a team of Family Members and manage performance and operations across their restaurant(s). The partner makes key financial and brand decisions and drives schedule flexibility while developing leaders.

The role focuses on P&L oversight, talent acquisition and retention, and implementing company campaigns. You will work with Managers and the Market Leader to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing P&L and financial tasks.
• Ability to attract and retain talent through hiring decisions and development plans.
• Experience working with the Market Leader to execute operational plans.
• Monitor performance using reporting tools and metrics.
• Maintain restaurant safety policies and safe work environment.
• Build relationships with customers and resolve complaints.
• Lead change initiatives, campaigns and new products.

Responsibilities

• Manages profit and loss, cash reporting, labor, food expenses, repairs, and maintenance.
• Attracts and retains talent through key hiring decisions, growth and development plans, and regular performance assessments.
• Works with Managers and the Market Leader to execute operational plans.
• Monitors restaurant performance and processes utilizing reporting tools, customer metrics, and labor metrics.
• Maintains restaurant safety protocols through promotion of all food safety policies, procedures, tools, and systems and creation of a safe work environment.
• Builds relationships with customers and resolves customer complaints.
• Responsible for rollout and adoption of all change initiatives, to include new products, systems, company campaigns and strategies.
