Job summary

CAVA is hiring an Assistant General Manager to translate our mission and values into guest and Team Member success.

You will partner with the General Manager to set store action plans, track financial metrics, and mentor hourly staff through scheduling and coaching in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers $21 per hour (projected $60,060 annually for a 50-hour week) with opportunities to improve service and drive profitability.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt and provide solutions for performance improvements.
• Experience managing budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including openings and closings.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, sourcing, and cost control for profitability.
• Coach and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing decisions.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold high service standards and address guest concerns promptly.
• Support financial reporting and budget adherence.
• Assist with safety practices and operating records.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
