Job summary

Taco Bell in Omaha, NE is seeking an energized Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the restaurant general manager in daily operations, guest service, and profitability. You will coach crew, manage shifts, and ensure food safety and quality across all stations.

You will oversee open/close procedures, monitor standards, and collaborate with team members to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining labor and inventory controls. Training and advancement are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or assistant management experience in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards.
• Lead and develop crew and shift managers through coaching and feedback.
• Assist in scheduling and managing staffing to meet service levels.
• Analyze sales and expenses; help control costs and improve profitability.
