Job summary

Potomac Family Dining Group (Applebee's Franchisee) seeks a restaurant supervisor to lead shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold brand standards. You will support General Manager with daily operations, staff development, and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.

Candidates should have 1–2 years in guest service with supervisory experience, strong communication, and a commitment to hospitality, working 50–55 hour weeks and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 1–2 years of guest service experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a casual dining setting.
• Demonstrated progression towards growing sales and managing a Profit & Loss Statement.
• 21+ years old.
• ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plus.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Bi-lingual experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Restaurant Environment during shifts with discretionary management decisions.
• Ensure prompt, friendly service according to guidelines and maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations during shifts; manage opening/closing procedures.
• Foster teamwork, supervise Team Leads and Team Members, and drive goal-oriented performance.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with company policies.
