Border Foods LLC in Grand Junction, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold our CORE values, and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly guest experience.

This non-exempt role requires at least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience, the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and familiarity with sales, P&L statements, and recruiting. Compensation ranges from $14 to $35 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure customers receive great food and a friendly experience.
• Lead shift teams, monitor standards, and drive fast, friendly service.
• Manage labor, inventory, and cash handling in line with policies.
