Border Foods LLC in Michigan is hiring an Assistant Manager to reinforce our CORE values and lead a restaurant team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure great food and friendly service, and build a strong, engaged staff.

This is a non-exempt role, typically 50 hours per week, with growth potential and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, vacation and holiday pay, and a notable bonus program.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in restaurant or retail.
• Experience in sales, P&L, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management role; 50 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and drive guest satisfaction.
• Lead and develop a strong team, including Shift Leaders.
• Schedule staff and monitor performance against standards.
• Manage P&L and cost controls to protect profits.
• Ensure health/safety compliance and training.
