Not Your Average Joe's in Acton, MA is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in both the dining room and the kitchen. This role runs shifts in both FOH and HOH, reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with the Chef to ensure quality, training, and smooth service.

You will lead hourly staff, uphold standards, and contribute to marketing and financial results. The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, and team-oriented with a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a full-service restaurant is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant is fully staffed at all times.
• Interview, train, counsel, and coach staff.
• Ensure training materials, development and schedules are followed.
• Communicate clearly with all team members.
• Maintain harassment-free environment for staff.
• Manage labor and adjust shifts without hurting guest experience.
• Achieve budgeted sales and profit goals.
• Maintain operational excellence for efficient service.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Create an atmosphere patrons and staff enjoy.
• Perform various other tasks as needed.
