Job summary

On Top Of The World Communities is seeking a capable Restaurant Manager to supervise daily dining operations at the Ocala location. You will lead staff, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure service excellence and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in hospitality, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will report to the General Manager and help drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or managerial restaurant experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication with staff and guests.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and food handling.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS and restaurant software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the restaurant staff during the assigned shift.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of employees.
• Set performance expectations and conduct evaluations.
• Provide training, coaching, and feedback to ensure quality service.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and resources.
• Monitor dining area for cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Interact with customers to gather feedback and address concerns.
• Create shift schedules considering availability and business needs.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food preparation and delivery.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to avoid shortages.
• Enforce standard operating procedures including cash handling and safety rules.
• Collaborate with managers to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor attendance and compliance with policies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and overtime where applicable.
