Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager in De Pere, Wisconsin to lead daily restaurant operations. The AM supports the Restaurant General Manager, manages a 20-45 person team, drives profitability, and focuses on Guest service, people development, and operations management.

Responsibilities include inventory oversight, vendor coordination, maintaining asset lists, and ensuring adherence to cash controls.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Manages profitability by controlling inventory costs and performing regular inventory inspections.
• Places and receives inventory truck orders and maintains asset lists.
• Ensures preventive maintenance of restaurant facilities and equipment in line with company standards.
• Monitors cash handling procedures and security practices.
• Directs team to deliver accurate, fast, friendly service in a clean facility and exceed guest expectations.
• Coaches and provides feedback to shifts coordinators and team members to lift performance.
• Directs restaurant team toward efficient preparation and sale of products within speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures operation adheres to brand standards and expectations.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
