Job summary

CAVA - Huntington Oaks seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, schedule and staff, and partner with the General Manager to drive guest satisfaction and profitability. You will lead by example in service, manage inventory and costs, train Team Members, and address issues with calm leadership.

This role requires flexibility and strong communication to uphold CAVA’s standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or management role within restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing concerns.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and analyzing performance metrics.
