Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading daily operations and training staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You will oversee F&B procedures, monitor costs, and help forecast schedules to maximize guest satisfaction.

This role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and adherence to White Lodging standards in a fast-paced, upscale setting across multiple hotels in our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required; experience with the specific brand hotel or upscale property is an added plus.
• Extensive knowledge of F&B operational procedures.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to any situation.
• Ability to creatively problem solve and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience.
• Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines.
• Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all F&B personnel.
• Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget.
• Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.
