Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Assistant Manager for our high-volume restaurant. You will monitor service levels, manage staffing, and ensure dining standards while leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include financial reporting, reservations, training, and enforcing food safety. Strong English communication and basic IT skills are essential, along with prior supervisory experience in a nightlife or large-scale dining

Qualifications

• Two years prior night club Assistant Manager or Supervisory experience preferred.
• Two years prior high-volume restaurant Assistant Manager or Supervisory experience required.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms.
• Must possess basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
• Mandatory testing on restaurant menu knowledge (Information will be provided).

Responsibilities

• Constantly monitor service levels on the dining room floor and adjust staffing as needed.
• Maintain Food Line Check to ensure ticket times meet standards.
• Complete paperwork, daily reports and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurant.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by approaching every table and confirming dining expectations are met.
• Order products and supplies for the restaurant.
• Complete dinner reservations for guests.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and regular staff training meetings.
• Manage and lead staff including hiring, scheduling, employee counseling and commendations.
• Train employees on steps and sequence of service and hold them accountable to standards.
• Ensure daily operational tasks are performed and completed.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant areas.
• Practice sanitation methods to ensure food safety standards are followed.
• Communicate professionally via e-mail and follow computer use guidelines.
• Provide necessary tools to staff.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels and control labor costs.
• Follow departmental and company policies.
• Assist Manager in achieving service, financial and HR goals.
• Perform duties for the department's success.
