Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Grand Forks, ND seeks an experienced manager to assist the General Manager in achieving sales and profit goals. You will direct staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and a quality work environment, while enforcing company policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of managerial experience in food service, a high school diploma (college preferred), and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• 1–2 years’ managerial experience preferred, preferably in food service.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly according to procedures and health regulations.
• Manage unit staffing, training, and performance reviews to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure unit productivity and service standards with adequately trained staff.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, energy conservation, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Assist in financial data accuracy including payroll, cash, and operating expenses.
