Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and oversee daily restaurant operations, delivering an exceptional guest experience and upholding our standards for service, quality, cleanliness, and profitability.

The AGM will lead and develop the management team and hourly staff, coach Shift Managers, recruit and train new hires, schedule labor, control costs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol-service regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age to serve alcohol per state/local laws.
• Ability to obtain required food safety and alcohol service certifications where required by law.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Shift Managers and hourly team members.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain staff.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and growth.
• Ensure outstanding guest service by resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Monitor labor, scheduling, inventory, and costs to achieve financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Assist in executing promotions, new menu rollouts, and operational initiatives.
• Complete administrative duties including reports and performance reviews.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment.
