Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead staff, optimize operations, and drive sales. You will assist the Restaurant Manager with daily tasks, scheduling, and reporting to ensure a clean, safe, and profitable dining environment.

The role emphasizes team development, process improvement, and exceptional guest service. Candidates should bring 1+ year in restaurant management, experience with budgets and P&L, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+million.
• 1+ years budgeting and P&L experience.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
• Understandfinancial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting changes to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager in the efforts of talent acquisition.
