Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and deliver friendly, prompt service with great food in a clean, inviting environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, scheduling, hiring and coaching, while maintaining financial controls and safety standards. Equal opportunity employer; training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high volume food service.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and inventory accuracy.
• Create and manage staff schedules and labor costs.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team members.
• Provide coaching, counseling and development for staff.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and safety standards.
• Uphold health inspections and create a fun, family environment.
