Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Restaurant Manager to assist the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations in Murfreesboro, TN. You will oversee shifts, uphold quality standards, and ensure guest satisfaction by following company policies and PRIDE procedures.

You will schedule staff, manage inventory and costs, train hourly employees, and communicate promotions while reporting issues to the GM.

Qualifications

• One to three years of management in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
• Detail oriented with the capability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant including movement for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain standards for product and service quality, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Assist in executing the restaurant’s business plan as directed by the GM.
• Ensure PRIDE systems and routines are used in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure guest service meets company standards and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Complete duties such as inventory control, ordering, and cash handling.
• Help optimize profits by controlling product and labor costs.
• Schedule hourly employees to meet staffing needs.
• Train and develop hourly staff through hiring, orientations, feedback, training materials, and reviews.
• Communicate promotions and supervise execution with GM.
