Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Detroit is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in directing daily operations and staff development. You will ensure guest satisfaction, maintain standards, manage inventory and financials, and lead the team to deliver consistent, quality experiences.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training, enforcing safety and policy compliance, scheduling, and collaborating with leadership to achieve performance goals.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a similar organization.
• College graduate with a two or four year degree in Hotel/Restaurant, Management, Business or associated field, who is entering the full time work force or has successfully demonstrated leadership abilities and business acumen in role of assistant manager.
• Successfully demonstrated all required training associated with Management training.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall activities and performance of TEAM Members on a shift by shift basis.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Maintains adequate departmental inventory levels.
• Promotes training procedures of new managers.
• Reports progress towards restaurant performance objectives.
