Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Holland, MI, seeks a Restaurant Manager to assist the General Manager in directing daily operations, guest service, staffing, and financial accountability. You will lead team members, uphold company standards, and drive a safe, clean, and efficient dining room and kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining inventory, scheduling, addressing guest concerns, and reporting performance to the GM.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a similar restaurant environment.
• Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business, or related field.
• Completed leadership training or management development program.

Responsibilities

• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Directs overall activities and performance of TEAM Members on a shift by shift basis.
• Breeds a culture using the Vision / Mission statement to guide Values.
• Responds to guest complaints promptly and refers to GM when needed.
• Maintains inventory levels and ensures safe, sanitary operations.
• Ensures product prep and presentation meet Company standards.
• Schedules TEAM Members to meet sales demands.
• Maintains safety and security programs; corrects unsafe practices.
• Promotes organization, cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.
• Develops TEAM Members through coaching and regular evaluations.
