Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan seeks a Restaurant Manager to assist the General Manager in directing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, food quality, inventory control, and adherence to company standards.

You will lead TEAM Members on shift, recruit and train staff, manage scheduling, and uphold safety, sanitation, and financial accountability. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a similar organization.
• College graduate with a two or four year degree in Hotel/Restaurant, Management, Business or associated field.
• Demonstrated training as part of management development programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall activities and performance of TEAM Members on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Maintains safety, sanitation, and inventory controls and enforces company policies.
• Leads recruitment, training and development of staff and managers.
• Communicates with GM and other managers daily through logs and meetings.
