Job summary

Postino WineCafe is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive excellence, coach a diverse team, and oversee daily restaurant operations in Colorado. You will lead catering, ensure food safety, manage inventories, and partner with the GM to achieve financial goals while maintaining a positive service culture.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, hospitality experience, and a passion for guest satisfaction, with ServSafe and alcohol service certifications.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant management experience or 3–5 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
• ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BOH operations, scheduling, and training to maintain quality and cost controls.
• Drive P&L discussions with GM, monitor food costs and supplier performance.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure consistency and price quality.
• Lead Culinary Trainers and staff development, ensuring adherence to menu standards.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulatory compliance.
