Postino WineCafe is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the GM in delivering exceptional hospitality and operational excellence. This role drives daily restaurant functions, coaches a diverse team, and helps achieve financial targets within a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

The candidate brings leadership, a track record in full-service restaurant management, and certifications in ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant management experience or 3–5 years in a lead/supervisory role in a restaurant.
• ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certifications required

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager's vision of excellence and maintain a positive work environment.
• Direct the daily functions of the restaurant and meet financial goals.
• Lead scheduling, hiring, and development of the culinary/FOH team.
• Partner with GM on P&L review, cost communication and coaching to drive goals.
• Oversee vendor relationships, ordering, and inventory control.
