Job summary

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Assistant General Manager position in a fast-paced Miami area restaurant oversees daily operations, drives sales, and ensures quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll lead staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with the GM on hiring decisions while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes financial performance, vendor relations, inventory control, and community relations to uphold Lime’s guest experience and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of front-of-the-house operations and/or leadership positions.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area.
• Have knowledge of service, food and beverage.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Must have the stamina to work 50 hours per week.
• May be required to travel for up to 4 weeks for training.
• Complete Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Basic Training course and be approved by EverFresh Endeavors, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Interface with guests to ensure a perfect LIME experience.
• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
• Ensure that all food and products are high quality and prepared and served following set standards.
• Ensure restaurant achieves objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation/cleanliness.
• Train and develop new staff.
• Work with the GM to make employment and termination decisions.
• Order and inventory stock and supplies.
• Lead shifts as needed.
• Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
• Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
