Job summary

Whataburger is seeking an Operating Partner to lead a team of Family Members and manage the performance and operations of their restaurant(s). The partner drives key financial, staffing, and brand decisions.

This role oversees profit and loss, hiring and development, and works with Managers and the Market Leader to implement operational plans. It also monitors performance via reporting tools and upholds food safety and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Budgeting and financial oversight experience.
• Talent attraction, growth plans, and performance reviews.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Manages profit and loss, cash reporting, labor and food costs, repairs and maintenance.
• Attracts and retains talent through hiring decisions and development plans.
• Collaborates with Managers and Market Leader to execute operations plans.
• Monitors performance with reporting tools, customer metrics, and labor metrics.
• Maintains safety protocols and promotes a safe work environment.
• Builds relationships with customers and handles complaints effectively.
• Leads rollout of changes, new products, systems and campaigns.
