Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee in Pensacola, FL to prepare candidates for the Restaurant Manager role. The trainee will oversee day-to-day operations for up to 90 days, with responsibility for people, operations, and financial metrics under the supervision of the Restaurant District Manager.

Key duties include recruiting and onboarding staff, maintaining food safety and quality, managing cash and inventory, and ensuring compliance with brand standards and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred.
• Open availability required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service in a fast, friendly manner and coach team members.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard for all positions.
• Maintain a clean restaurant environment and perform housekeeping duties.
• Delegate duties and ensure completion; manage shift operations.
• Monitor cash, sales and inventory control records for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with brand, company, and health department regulations.
• Communicate with the district manager and complete daily/weekly/periodic paperwork.
