Job summary

Hudson House Southlake is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead daily floor operations, coach a high-performing team, and uphold Vandelay hospitality standards. You’ll ensure seamless service, guest satisfaction, and smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant / Hospitality Management or similar strongly preferred
• 2+ years of full-service restaurant experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Trustworthy, detail-obsessed and open to constructive feedback
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Desire to engage guests with infectious commitment to guest service at all times

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team.
• Lead daily floor operations ensuring seamless service and elevated guest experience.
• Model warm, polished hospitality and empower team members to create memorable moments for guests.
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
• Help oversee scheduling, shift planning, and labor management.
• Maintain vibrant floor presence by supporting service teams and reinforcing standards.
• Support monitoring and achievement of key financial metrics including labor and costs.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Partner with culinary leadership to ensure menu execution and quality meet expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, purchasing, storage, and rotation of products.
• Maintain the physical and aesthetic upkeep of the restaurant.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and foster communication between front-of-house, back-of-house, and leadership.
• Use guest feedback to drive continuous improvement in service and operations.
• Uphold disciplinary protocols to foster accountability and growth.
