Job summary

Hudson House Fort Worth is seeking a hands-on Manager to lead daily operations with warmth, uphold Vandelay hospitality standards, and model a culture of excellence.

You’ll coach a high-performing team, oversee floor operations, supervise scheduling, training, and ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

This on-site role offers growth within a collaborative environment that values guest satisfaction, food quality, safety, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is implied; bachelor’s in Hospitality preferred.
• Experience in leading a service team and maintaining standards.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team.
• Lead daily floor operations with confidence and professionalism.
• Model warm, polished hospitality and empower team members to create memorable moments.
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
• Help oversee scheduling, shift planning, and labor management.
• Maintain vibrant floor presence and ensure exceptional pacing and execution.
• Monitor key financial metrics including labor, inventory, and operational efficiencies.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Partner with culinary leadership to ensure menu execution and quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and storage.
• Maintain the physical and aesthetic upkeep of the restaurant.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and facilitate cross-team communication.
• Use guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Uphold disciplinary protocols with fairness and consistency.
