Whataburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee a high‑volume location with a team of 50+ family members. You’ll drive daily operations, ensure quality and hospitality, and coach staff to their full potential while meeting sales and cost goals.

This role is based at your home restaurant, with opportunities to support nearby sites and participate in leadership development. You’ll lead shifts, maintain food and workplace safety, and embody Whataburger values as you help the team grow and

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays and variable hours.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain during training.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Champion hospitality and guest service by creating friendly, fast experiences.
• Coach, develop, and support Team Members to their potential.
• Achieve restaurant goals across sales, labor, food cost, and profitability.
• Ensure food safety, workplace safety, and brand standards.
• Model Whataburger values and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
• Lead shift transitions and ensure smooth operations across day parts.
• Support talent development, training, hiring, and retention with leadership.
• Contribute to business planning, performance reviews, and improvements.
