Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the restaurant level operations and guide kitchen activities daily. You will set standards, develop the Heart of House team, and model our culture of hospitality, quality, and efficiency.

You will drive service excellence, monitor food quality, mentor hourly staff, and manage workflow to meet financial goals while maintaining sanitation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach Hourly team on maintaining our standards for Service, Food and Beverage.
• Actively monitor food quality to ensure adherence to standards; provide timely feedback and corrective actions.
• Oversee the heart of the house on shifts, ensuring efficient operations with food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure line checks and production comply with our systems and standards.
• Mentor HOH hourly staff to support talent development and growth.
• Achieve business plan and goals through effective financial management.
• Maintain trained staff to operate the restaurant effectively.
• Keep operations, recipe books, specifications, and training materials current.
• Keep building, equipment, and fixtures in good repair and clean.
