Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Restaurant Manager to provide leadership at the restaurant level and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations. The HOH team will look to you for direction, quality standards, and culture adherence.

You will teach and coach hourly staff on service and food quality, monitor production, and mentor HOH personnel to support talent growth while achieving financial goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant teams and ensuring service, food, and beverage standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Heart of House (HOH) team to uphold quality standards, systems, and culture.
• Coach hourly staff on service, food, and beverage quality and provide timely feedback for improvement.
• Oversee kitchen operations on shifts, ensuring efficiency, food quality, sanitation, and compliance with procedures.
• Perform line checks and production to align with company systems and standards.
• Mentor HOH staff to support talent growth and succession planning.
• Manage finances to meet business plans and goals.
• Ensure staff training, current recipes, specs, and training materials are maintained.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and fixtures in good repair and clean condition.
